Venue booking and management consultant Arena Network, and its Theater Network division, has signed three venues – the Fargodome in North Dakota, Wolstein Center in Cleveland and Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in Saint Paul, Minn.
The additions put the Arena Network and Theater Network tally at more than 40 major venues throughout North America.
Wolstein Center executive director Jennifer Kelly said in a statement that “in the short period during which we have been an Arena Network member, we are already in the process of booking multiple shows that they brought to us.”
“We need to keep current with touring talent and the agents that route them and Arena Network helps us do that,” added Rob Sobolik, Fargodome GM.
Arena Network is an association of arenas and theaters throughout North America that aims to increase the volume of activity at their venues.
Recent boxoffice reports from the Fargodome include Avenged Sevenfold Feb. 11, which sold out at 7,783 tickets and grossed $359,051, and Tim McGraw / Faith Hill Aug. 24, which sold out 14,146 tickets and grossed $1.1 million.
Wolstein Center recently hosted Worship Night In America with Pat Barrett, Matt Maher, Chris Tomlin and others, as well as Sesame Street Live, Miranda Lambert, and Tyrese.
The Ordway Center’s upcoming dates include Alice Cooper, Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band, and Maria Bamford.
