Sebastian Maniscalco Extends ‘Stay Hungry Tour’

After playing five sold-out shows at New York’s Radio City Music Hall last month to wrap up the spring leg of his “Stay Hungry” tour, Sebastian Maniscalco is prepping for another delicious run of tour dates.  
Announced today, the fall leg begins Sept. 8 at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre. 
Stops on the U.S. / Canada road trip include Milwaukee’s Riverside Theatre, Las Vegas’ Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Dallas’ Majestic Theatre, Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre and Calgary, Alberta’s Southern Jubilee Auditorium. 
The routing concludes in late December with a handful of shows in Florida including Sunrise, Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville. 
The comedian, actor and best-selling author also has a previously announced residency at Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa scheduled June 22 through July 1.  
Maniscalco’s “Stay Hungry” tour shares its name with his first book, which was released in February. Fans are certainly hungry to snatch up tickets to his shows. 
His sold-out Radio City Music Hall residency grossed nearly $3.4 million with a total of 27,941 tickets, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice.  
A review of the tour from the Chicago Tribune explains that Maniscalco’s set “in its current incarnation focuses much more on how just maybe his own neuroses play a part in his – often hilarious – frustration with the way things work. … It’s only a slight change of focus – from ‘everyone around me is an idiot’ to ‘I was raised to think that everyone around me is an idiot’ – but it’s a big step toward evolving his routine and it makes a difference in how certain bits play out.”
Presales tickets for the U.S. gigs will be available May 16 with the code “HUNGRY.” Tickets go on sale to the general public May 18. 
General onsales for the Canadian dates begin May 25.
