American singer-songwriters Gavin DeGraw and Phillip Phillips are linking up for a co-headline tour of North America this summer, taking in a variety of venues.

The tour gets started Aug. 9 in Park City, Utah, at Deer Valley Resort Snow Park Outdoor Ampthitheater. Sheds comprise a good chunk of the routing, but there is also Festival at Sandpoint in Sandpoint, Idaho; Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle; and Mount Airy Casino & Resort in Mount Pocono, Penn.

The co-headline run wraps up Sept. 5 in Glen Allen, Va., for a show that is part of the Innsbrook After Hours Concert Series.

Some previously announced shows are already on sale, but new dates go on sale May 18, with artist presales May 16.

Phillips is pushing songs off his new album, Collateral, released Jan. 19. He also has solo plays at festivals like Magic City Blues in Billings, Mont., Aug. 4 and venues like Bell’s Eccentric Café & Pub in Kalamazoo, Mich., May 31. The vast majority of his standalone gigs are unplugged.

DeGraw has a number of dates by himself as well, including an upcoming play at Resorts World Catskills Casino in Monticello, N.Y., May 18 and a look at Summerfest in Milwaukee on the Fourth of July.

Degraw and Phillips have both proven themselves capable of theatre level tours own their own. Last year DeGraw sold more than 1,000 tickets and grossed more than $40,000 in venues like Boston’s The Wilbur; Chicago’s Vic Theatre; and Minneapolis’s First Avenue.

Phillips has been touring this year and sold 1,000 tickets at The Neptune in Seattle, though he did keep prices fairly low for that show. He also opened for Goo Goo Dolls in amphitheatres and performing arts centers last year.
