UTA Signs Dave East; Rapper Just Joined Def Jam

United Talent Agency has announced the worldwide signing of Harlem-based MC and rapper Dave East, most notably recognized for the 2014 mixtape Black Rose and who recently joined Def Jam.
East has had two projects debut at No. 1 across all genres on iTunes – “Paranoia: A True Story” and “Paranoia 2” hit the charts after his “Perfect” single with Chris Brown.
His record “Wrote My Way Out” with Lin Manuel Miranda and Nas went Gold last month.
He’s had notable touring this year reported to Pollstar, including sellouts at Pub Rock Live in Scottsdale, Ariz., Alamo City Music Hall in San Antonio, Trees in Dallas, Warehoust Live in Houston, and Irving Plaza in New York City, Jan 16, which sold 1,080 tickets and grossed $26,063.
