Greg Marchant Joins Madison Entertainment As COO At New Boise Office
Thirty-year industry veteran Greg Marchant has joined Nashville-based talent buying and consulting service Madison Entertainment as COO after filling that same role at Knitting Factory Entertainment.
“Greg is a successful and accomplished industry veteran and we’re looking forward to having his expertise on board as Madison Entertainment takes our business to the next level,” said Madison Entertainment head Roger LeBlanc, who told Pollstar the company has opened a new Boise from which Marchant will be based.
“I am thrilled to be joining Madison Entertainment and to be part of a team with such an outstanding reputation,” said Marchant. “Roger is known in this business as being a fair, reasonable, and decent person. He has put together a great team of talented people upon which to grow and I look forward to contributing to their continued success.”
Marchant, along with serving as COO at Knitting Factory Entertainment in Boise, has directed large teams and filled roles including business development, venue manager, talent buyer, and production manager. Recently Marchant focused on developing systems, processes and technologies that streamline workflow and allow companies to scale while maintaining a personal level of client service.
Madison Entertainment says it will book more than $50 million in artist fees in 2018 and is proud to count among its clients KAABOO Del Mar, KAABOO Cayman, KAABOO Texas, Mempho Music Fest, the Gasparilla Music Festival, as well as many other festivals and venues coast to coast.
Pollstar spoke to LeBlanc just a couple weeks ago about booking the inaugural KAABOO Cayman festival, which is fielding a lineup topped by The Chainsmokers, Duran Duran, Zedd and many others Feb. 15-16 in what talent buyer Roger LeBlanc says will be a yearly event taking the “elevated” KAABOO brand to the Caribbean.
Founded in 1999 by Roger LeBlanc, Madison Entertainment is headquartered in Nashville, TN and oversees a group of buyers from Florida to Los Angeles.
