The event takes place Sept. 28-30 at Champions Park, the first time it will have three full days of festival for the rock-loving masses. This year’s Louder Than Life lineup goes into different variants of the rock genre, and even some hip-hop, but organizers mostly stuck to bands that rose to prominence in the last 30 years. Some of the longer-tenured acts include Suicidal Tendencies, Slash feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, and Ice Cube.
Tickets go on sale to the general public June 8 at 12 p.m. EST.

The shindig is produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, which puts on many of the World’s Loudest Month festivals, which have helped prove to any doubters that Rock ‘N’ Roll is still alive and well.
Louder Than Life bills itself as the World’s Largest Rock ‘N’ Roll Whiskey Festival, meaning there is also a big emphasis on food and beverage as well.
