Move Concerts Teams Up With 70MIL To Form Move Management
International promoter Move Concerts has launched Move Management with 70MIL, the agency for Argentinian singer Abel Pintos.
The two companies’ first collaboration was on Pintos’ Familia Festeja Fuerte tour.
That tour has already hit Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia and Peru, and continues to hit those countries and Argentina later this year.
“Move Management was created to only handle one artist … Abel Pintos,” Phil Rodriguez, CEO of Move Concerts told Pollstar. “That said, if in the future an opportunity arises with another equally unique artist, we are open to expanding the management roster.
“The principals in Move Management bring 40 years of experience in the live music business to the table. Furthermore, the various Move Concerts offices in the region will complement and reinforce the support of Sony in the markets outside Argentina and will contribute to the growth of Abel’s career outside Argentina. Given the fact that the major income stream for most artists today is in live shows and touring, Move Management is well positioned to assist Abel in expanding his horizons.”
Sebastian Carlomagno, COO of Move Concerts, LLC was equally excited about his company’s role in managing Pintos.
“We are proud to work with an artist of Abel’s caliber, with all his potential and I am convinced that, with all of our experience and through this collaboration, we will be able to consolidate his position and bring Abel to new markets,” Carlomagno told Pollstar.
Move Management proudly vaunts Pintos’ status as the “most listened to Argentine artist” on Spotify from 2014 to 2017 and his more than 180 million YouTube views since 2012. His upcoming routing begins Sept. 19 in Peru and runs through Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, and with extended runs in Spain and Argentina, wrapping in November.
The singer recently performed at Teatro Barceló in Madrid, Spain, selling 348 tickets for a $9,684 gross. His reps say a four-show run at Estadio Obras in Buenos Aires Oct. 25-28 is already sold out.
Move Concerts has a ton of shows coming up, including Residente in Orlando, Fla.; Thirty Seconds To Mars in Brazil; Shakira in Brazil; and Camila Cabello in Puerto Rico. Cabello is also headlining the the Z Festival in Brazil this year.
