Singer Teyana Taylor performs in concert during the ‘Later That Night’ tour at Center Stage on August 7, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Update:
Teyana Taylor has announced the dates for Jeremih’s “Later That Night” tour will now be called the “Keep That Same Energy” tour and will feature her as a headliner instead of crooner she was supporting.
The routing will see tonight’s show in Toronto rescheduled but the rest of the dates are apparently going to proceed with Taylor as the main draw, according to her Instagram page. Dani Leigh will be appearing as special guest.
The change comes after Taylor announced Aug. 16 she was dropping out of the tour due after being “extremely mistreated.”
She had promised to arrange refunds to fans who had bought the ticket just to see her, and later said she would do free concerts in whichever cities couldn’t provide the refunds, but apparently her fans will still get their chance to see her as planned. The next show is now Aug. 17 at The Majestic Theatre in Detroit.
Jeremih has yet to offer comment on apparently being removed from the tour. Pollstar has reached out to his team for comment.

Original Story:

Sometimes enough is enough. Teyana Taylor has dropped out of Jeremih‘s “Later That Night” tour, essentially saying she could no longer stand working with the headliner.

“I’ve been extremely mistreated on this tour so on that note I will NO longer continue to stay on the #LaterThatNightTour because if I do ima end up knocking this ***** out,” Taylor wrote on Twitter today. “@Jeremih Lazy, sneaky, jealous, conniving, selish, lame ass *****! Don’t ever try to play me Petunia! They come to see me then 80% of the room leave after MY SET! Work my ass off every city, every night! You’ve done nothing this whole tour but act like a DIVA in ya princess chair.”

She also promised that she would make sure fans who only bought the ticket to see her would be provided with a refund.

Jeremih hasn’t publicly commented beyond posting a video of Lil Duvall cheerfully singing on Instagram.

The tour kicked off Aug. 3 in Tampa, Fla., and is scheduled to continue until Sept. 8 in Portland, Ore. The next scheduled stop is Aug. 15 at

This would not be Jeremih’s first time getting into conflict with his tourmates. In 2016, after numerous incidents during performances, the R&B singer was kicked off the “Summer’s Over” tour with Partynextdoor.

During that tour Jeremih was on video ending one performance after two songs, claimed he was pepper sprayed at another, publicly dissed Partynextdoor and his crew, and was accused of putting an imposter onstage in hoodie and cap to take his place.
