Luke Bryan plays iHeartRadio Country Festival at Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, May 5.
Luke Bryan, just nominated for CMA Entertainer of the Year (and previous winner of the award twice) will celebrate his 10th annual Farm Tour this fall by bringing along some friends and hitting six cities Sept. 27 to Oct. 6.
Starting Sept. 27 in Irwin, Ohio, Bryan will continue to honor the American farmer with guests Chase Rice; Jon Langston; the Peach Pickers; consisting of Ben Hayslip, Dallas Davidson, and Rhett Akins; and DJ Rock. Performers will take the stage on local farms in six different cities. Tickets are on sale now.
Since its initiation in 2009, Bryan’s tour has attracted more than 100,000 fans each year, with more than 50 scholarships granted to students from farming families, attending colleges or universities that neighbor the local farms on tour.
The dates are on top of Bryan’s already busy touring schedule, which has seen him on the road since February and will continue into October. While much of the remaining dates are amphitheatre plays, he’s done stadiums as well, including June 23 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, which sold 41,881 tickets and grossed $2.79 million, and June 16 at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, showing he can play both football and baseball stadiums, which grossed $2.28 million on 34,044 tickets sold.
Last year’s Farm Tour took place right after the horrific Route 91 Harvest shooting in Las Vegas, forcing extra security measures to be taken.
“The FBI got involved, Homeland Security got involved. We hired the state SWAT team and we set overwatches. We did,” W.B. “Bart” Butler, president/CEO of Rock Solid Security in Nashville, told Pollstar at the time. “Luke did everything they could to make their fans feel comfortable. They brought extra personnel in… The costs were picked up by him. These are all things Luke and their management did to make their fans feel safe, with no extra cost embedded to their tickets.”
Harvest Time VIP Experiences are offered again this year, which include a Farm Tour ticket, VIP viewing area access, private restrooms, and merchandiser gifts.
