FPC Live Boosts Pat Kay, Jesse Sherman

FPC Live, formerly Frank Productions Concerts, is giving two of its talent buyers additional duties to book venues in its portfolio, the company announced Sept. 4.

Jesse Sherman, who has been booking shows at the 400-capacity High Noon Saloon, will add the 600-cap Majestic Theatre to his plate. He’s also been involved in production, marketing and talent buying for FPC Live for five years. He’ll remain based in Madison, Wis.
Pat Kay, who has booked shows for the 275-capacity Rose Music Hall in Columbia, Mo., will now be responsible for booking national acts at the venue as well as the 900-cap Blue Note.  Kay has been with FPC Live for four years and The Blue Note for 12 years.
The Majestic Theatre landed at No. 107 on Pollstar’s Mid Year Top 200 Clubs chart with 10,864 tickets sold. The Blue Note also made an appearance on the chart at No. 177, selling 5,188 at the midyear point.
“Jesse and Pat have earned being entrusted with these venues,” said FPC Live President Scott Leslie. “Their promotions illustrate our commitments to the venues that we operate and the cities in which we operate them. Jesse can now navigate an artist’s career from their first play in Madison through the Majestic, a venue that has served as a strong and consistent launchpad for more than a decade.
“Having a native son like Pat dedicated solely to our Columbia venues ensures the city will maintain its reputation as one of the venerable college markets in the country. I’m looking forward to working with Jesse and Pat closely in their new expanded roles,” Leslie said.
FPC Live, which entered a joint venture with Live Nation in February, is growing rapidly with The Sylvee, a 2,500-capacity venue under construction in Madison and expected to open Sept. 27.
“It’s an exciting time for our company and an exciting time in the live music business,” added Leslie.  “Our team has never been stronger, and we look forward to more growth and success in the future.”
