Church is one of country music’s hottest arena acts, as evidenced by the $2.5 million he grossed
over two nights at Bridgestone Arena last year.
This year he brought Elle King, Steve Earle & The Dukes, and The Texas Gentlemen along for a pair of Texas shows in April, but has since mostly stuck to festivals.
Even with his booming business though, Church is known as a champion of fan-friendly ticketing. In 2017 Church cancelled 25,000 tickets bought by scalpers in an attempt to make sure his tickets were going to fans at the price he was charging. This has been cited as an example of how major ticketing companies could cut out brokers if they so chose.
Church’s upcoming album Desperate Man is available for pre-order now and will be released Oct. 5.
