Ozzy Osbourne has had to postpone three California concerts — including at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles — after undergoing surgery on his hand.
An initial press release said the Saturday show in Mountain View was called off after Osbourne suffered an infection that required surgery. Another statement on Oct. 8 announced that two more shows are postponed on doctor’s recommendation.
The Prince of Darkness will spend a couple of days at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles where he’ll remain under doctor’s care as they monitor the infection.
The shows are part of Osbourne’s North American “No More Tours 2.” The Oct. 13 Las Vegas show at  MGM Grand Garden Arena remains unaffected.
The Oct. 6 show at Shoreline Amphitheater was initially bumped to Oct. 16 but is now moved, with the new postponements, to Saturday, Oct. 20. The Oct. 9 show show at Mattress Firm Amphitheatre in Chula Vista is moved to Oct. 18; and Oct. 11 at the Hollywood Bowl is postponed to Oct. 15. nd Thursday, October 11 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, will be rescheduled as follows: Monday, October 15 in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl and Thursday, October 18 in Chula Vista (San Diego) at Mattress Firm Amphitheatre.
Ozzy’s No More Tours 2 was announced in February and has sold 143,882 tickets and grossed $9,869,639 across the 11 dates reported so far to Pollstar.
Ticketholders should hold on to their tickets, as they will be honored at the rescheduled dates. Refunds are also available at point of purchase.
