On Location Experience Acquires Future Beat

On Location Experiences expanded its footprint in the live entertainment space with the acquisition of Future Beat, a leading provider of VIP concert experiences, the company announced Oct. 10.
Future Beat works with artists to offer packages including the best seats, VIP perks, exclusive merchandise, meet & greets. The company’s long list of major artists covers includes SZA, Ringo Starr And His All Starr Band, Post Malone, Iron Maiden, Los Lobos, and Emmylou Harris.
On Location Experiences acquired its competitor PrimeSport late last year in a deal that included CID Entertainment, which was purchased by PrimeSport in 2016, according to the Sports Business Journal
The premium experiential hospitality business leader, which was formed in 2015, is owned by RedBird Capital Partners, Bruin Sports Capital and 32 Equity and the Carlyle Group and is a partner to more than 150 rightsholders including the NFL, NCAA, the PGA of America and the United State Tennis Association.

“The premium offerings of Future Beat and CID Entertainment are complementary and give our live music division significant scale,” On Location Experiences CEO John Collins said in a statement. “On Location continues to build upon its established business to create a world class, live events experiential platform in partnership with iconic rightsholders at the most premium levels in sports and entertainment.”
Future Beat CEO and founder David Berger added, “It’s thrilling to join a team of like-minded individuals at CID, who are also committed to supporting artists by providing their fans outstanding experiences across the globe. This is an incredible opportunity for Future Beat, and we are looking forward to growing as part of On Location Experiences.”
Berger formed Future Beat in 2012. Prior to that, he established VIP divisions at Signature Networks and Live Nation Entertainment.
