A partnership with Deezer will give visitors of the arena curated musical content around their concert experience

Manchester Arena has announced a partnership with French streaming service Deezer, offering visitors curated musical content to get into the right mood pre-concert.
As part of the partnership, the editorial team of Deezer is going to curate a selection of relevant playlists, which will be available on the Manchester Arena website, accessible via customer emails and throughout social media platforms.
“They will help fans get in the mood ahead of gigs, and discover new bands which one day may grace the arena’s stage, and relive the experience after attending the gig,” the announcement states.
Manchester Arena has announced that is also going to introduce Deezer-sponsored Wifi later in the year.
The arena’s general manaer James Allen said: “We are proud of our partnership with Deezer, it is such a natural fit bringing together two key growth areas of music industry and highlights our dedication to enhancing customer experience.
“We are excited to be paving the way for greater connectivity with the installation of a brand new Deezer-sponsored Wifi system, which will be operational this autumn across the whole arena for music fans to enjoy.”
Phil Moore, Deezer’s VP of northern and southern EMEA, commented: “Our partnership with Manchester Arena makes music fans’ experience much richer by providing relevant and exciting content and connectivity. We want to encourage people to discover even more amazing music, both before and after they see their favourite artists.”
It’s the second UK arena that has announced a Deezer partnership, albeit the first in England, following the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
