Ticketmaster’s Justin Burleigh, iHeartMedia’s Alissa Pollack, Endeavor’s Bozoma Saint John and Artist Growth’s Matt Urmy Confirmed For Pollstar Live!’s Rainmaker Q&A Sessions
The programming for Pollstar Live! 2019 will include four special Q&A sessions featuring intimate, candid interviews with visionary executives who could have a profound impact on the live entertainment industry in the next decade.
The Rainmaker Q&A Sessions will offer wisdom from Ticketmaster’s Justin Burleigh, iHeartMedia’s Alissa Pollack, Endeavor’s Bozoma Saint John and Artist Growth’s Matt Urmy.
The 30th anniversary of Pollstar Live! takes place Feb. 11-13 at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., with Pollack (10:45 a.m.-11:15 a.m.) and Urmy (2:45pm-3:15pm) scheduled Tuesday, Feb. 12 and Burleigh (9:30 a.m.-10:00a.m.) and Saint John (2:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.) on Wednesday, Feb. 13.
Burleigh serves as the chief product officer for Ticketmaster, with his team focused on building innovative products that help the ticketing company’s clients fuel their business and service their fans. He also advises several cloud & mobile companies on product and roadmap direction. Burleigh’s previous work has included leading mobile, emerging technology and security transformation strategies for some of the largest companies in the world.
Saint John was announced as Endeavor’s chief marketing officer in June. In her role, she focuses on leading marketing efforts across Endeavor’s growing global network of companies, including Endeavor Global Marketing clients and premium brands. She’s spent the last 20 years driving marketing for companies including PepsiCo, Apple Music/iTunes and Uber, where she most recently served as chief brand officer. Saint John currently sits on American Advertising Federation Hall of Achievement’s Executive Committee and her philanthropic efforts include serving on the Leadership Council for the United Nation’s partnership with the PVBLIC Foundation, and as a mentor for the Levo League.
Urmy serves as chief strategy and product officer for Artist Growth, the software company he founded in 2012 and ran as CEO until earlier this year. His clients include Universal Music Group, Vector Management, Red Light Management, Maverick, C3, Qprime, and countless other labels, artists and management companies. Urmy released his debut album, Out Of The Ashes, in 2017, has published two books of poetry and has studied traditional healing practices with the Maori for nearly 20 years.
Pollack oversees Mediabase’s Domestic and International music ventures as well as those for Rate the Music, BuzzAngle Music and M-Score and works closely with iHeartMedia’s National Programming Platforms team to create national research strategies and to discover and develop new artists early in their career. Her team spearheads artist relations for Premiere Networks’ more than 5,000 affiliates, the iHeartRadio Digital and Podcast teams and internationally through iHeartRadio’s broadcast partnerships. Pollack also serves on the Board of MusiCares, Musicians on Call and the Executive Board of the Music and Entertainment Committee for City of Hope. She created and chairs the Taste of Hope, which has become one of the best attended music industry events and to date has raised over $6 million for City of Hope.
Pollstar Live!, the world’s largest gathering for the live entertainment industry, is Pollstar’s flagship event. Both were acquired by Oak View Group in 2017. The event includes the Pollstar Live! Conference & Awards and Production Live!
