London-headquartered Tap Management has formed a new umbrella group, called Tap Music, to incorporate subsidiaries Tap Records and Tap Publishing, and announced two new hires Nov. 1 to help with the company’s expansion.
Chris Woo has been named Senior A&R for Tap Records and Tap Publishing, and will work with René Symonds to oversee the work of Tap Music’s writer/producer group. He comes from AAM and was involved with Dua Lipa’s “New Rules” and Zayn Malik’s “Pillowtalk.”

Wendy Ong has joined Tap as head of marketing in the U.S. Ong comes over from Roc Nation, where she was head of marketing, and Interscope, where she was VP of marketing.

Tap co-founder Ben Mawson said in a statement: “We’re really excited about Wendy and Chris joining Tap Music. Having such a broad range of expertise in-house really sets us apart from other management companies globally and adds real value to our artists’ careers.”

Tap Management’s roster includes Ellie Goulding (who signed six months ago), Lana Del Rey, Aloe Blacc, and Dua Lipa. Pollstar has reached out to clarify whether Ellie Goulding is also working with Tap Records and/or Tap Publishing. The company has offices in LA, London, Berlin, and Sydney.
