Gimme Stadiums: The Rolling Stones Bring ‘No Filter’ Tour Stateside
Ready or not, the touring powerhouse that is The Rolling Stones is rumbling back into the U.S., with 13 stadiums announced for 2019.
The run, announced today via Rolling Stone magazine, begins April 20 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., and hits many major markets around the coasts, as well as Houston’s NRG Stadium; Glendale, Ariz.’s State Farm Stadium; Denver’s Broncos Stadium at Mile High; Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field; and the last date currently announced is at Soldier Field in Chicago June 21.
A presale for American Express cardholders begins Nov. 28 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available to the general public Nov. 30 at 10 a.m..
The Stones took their No Filter tour through two European legs over the past two years. This year’s spring leg grossed $116 million, proving the band is absolutely still one of the biggest draws in the world. FKP Scorpio and DEAG won a German Live Entertain Award for last year’s No Filter dates.
The boys took on Latin America in 2016, they same year they appeared at the record-breaking “Desert Trip” at Empire Polo Club, the grounds on which Coachella is regularly staged in Indio, Calif.
The U.S. leg of the No Filter tour is being produced by AEG Presents’ Concerts West. Earlier this year Concerts West Co-CEO John Meglen spoke with Pollstar about ticket pricing and other projects, including Chris Young’s North American run.
