The hits keep on coming for red-hot Nashville producer Dave Cobb, who keeps racking up awards and hit records. He has now signed with Creative Artist Agency with plans to expand his work in film and television.

Cobb is the talk of Nashville, having recently worked with Chris Stapleton, John Prine, Bruce Springsteen, Zac Brown Band, Amanda Shires, Anderson East, Bob Weir, Brent Cobb, Elle King, and The Revivalists

Prine raved to Pollstar about his work with Cobb earlier this year, saying: “Dave Cobb was terrific. He produces a lot of people I know, made records I love. That he didn’t want to hear the songs until the day we cut them might seem risky, but he understood what we were doing so well, I just trusted him.”

One of his latest accomplishments is a CMA Awards single of the year award for Chris Stapleton’s “Broken Halos.” Cobb also served as a music consultant and producer on the soundtrack for “A Star Is Born,” which propelled Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper near the top of the Elite 100Artists chart a few weeks back.

Cobb also currently occupies Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A, which was at one point in danger of being torn down.

Other crossover work CAA boasts of snagging for its clients includes Mark Ronson’s turn as composer for the “Songs Of The Damned” film; Benj Pasek and Justin Paul’s work on the original version and recently and released reimagined soundtrack for the movie “The Greatest Showman”; Annie Lennox’s gig to write and perform a song for the movie “A Private War”; Julia Michaels’ song for “Wreck It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks The Internet”; and Tim McGraw’s song with Lori McKenna for the National Geographic documentary “Free Solo.”
