After spending the past few months supporting Ed Sheeran on his North American stadium tour, Snow Patrol has made plans to return to the continent for its own run of headline dates in spring 2019.
The U.S./Canada road trip begins with an April 18 gig at South Side Ballroom in Dallas. Stops on the routing include Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, New York’s Terminal 5, Minneapolis’ First Avenue, Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre and Las Vegas’ The Joint @ Hard Rock. The outing wraps up May 21 at Los Angeles’ The Wiltern.

The Northern Irish/Scottish rock band is supporting its seventh studio album, Wildness, which marks its first new LP in seven years. Lead vocalist Gary Lightbody recently performed a rendition of the track “What If This Is All The Love You Ever Get?” accompanied by Johnny McDaid on piano during an appearance on “The Late Late Show With James Corden.”
The band is headed to stages across Europe next, with previously announced dates booked from early December through mid-February.
A North American presale for fans who purchased Wildness prior to June 6 begins Nov. 28, with Houston, Philadelphia and Boston’s onsales at 9 a.m. and the rest of the dates at 10 a.m. Fans who are subscribed to Snow Patrol’s newsletter as of Nov. 26 will receive a code for a presale that begins Nov. 28 at 1 p.m.
The general onsales begin at 10 a.m. local time, with the exception of Houston, Philadelphia and Boston which begin at 9 a.m. All times local.
Along with the Sheeran gigs, Snow Patrol played a handful of headline dates in the U.S. in 2018, including a Sept. 10 show at Express Live! in Columbus, Ohio, that grossed $30,773 and an Aug. 17 gig at Harrah’s Resort So. Cal in Valley Center, Calif., that grossed $58,092. The band brought in big numbers worldwide earlier this year, including an Aug. 4 show at the ICC Sydney Theatre that grossed $132,434 and a May 14 concert at INEC in Killarney, Ireland, that grossed $223,470.
