Live Nation Announces Lawn Pass Program For Unlimited Summer Concert Access
Live Nation announced a new initiative on Friday to connect frequent concertgoers with unlimited admission to summer concerts. Lawn Pass gives fans access to concerts — even the sold-out ones, a press release emphasizes — at their choice of 29 amphitheaters under Live Nation control.
Lawn Pass purchasers will receive laminated passes with their name and a barcode to scan for admission. They’ll also enjoy expedited entry with Fast Lane and, once inside, access to complimentary lawn chair rentals.
Participating venues include Phoenix’s Ak-Chin Pavilion, Atlanta’s Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood and San Diego’s North Island Credit Union Amphitheater.
Tickets will go on sale Dec. 4 at 1 p.m. ET and remain available for two weeks or until supplies run out. Pricing will vary depending on the venue. For more information, visit Live Nation’s site.
Lawn Pass is just the latest Live Nation initiative to improve the experience at its amphitheaters. In May, the promoter staged a Concert Week where it offered $20 tickets to more than 2,000 summer shows. And, in an eco-friendly move, Live Nation announced earlier this year that it was transitioning all of its U.S. amphitheaters from single-use plastic straws to marine-friendly paper alternatives.
