Anderson .Paak Announces Andy’s Beach Club World Tour
Fresh off his appearance on “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend, funk-rap sensation Anderson .Paak announced a winter tour Monday. Andy’s Beach Club World Tour will take .Paak to 11 North American venues in February, before hopping across the pond for a 14-date European tour in March.
The North American tour kicks off Feb. 11 at San Francisco’s Masonic and wraps Feb. 26 at Toronto’s Rebel. Other stops include Chicago’s Riviera Theatre (Feb. 16), New York’s Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom (Feb. 22) and Boston’s Orpheum Theatre (Feb. 23).
The headlining dates mark .Paak’s first of the kind in some time. After the early 2016 release of his breakthrough album Malibu, the 32-year-old became a fixture on the festival circuit and even opened BeyoncĂ©’s 2016 gig at Dodger Stadium.
He’s enjoyed a meteoric rise since his last North American headlining shows in 2016, collaborating with artists including A Tribe Called Quest and Mac Miller and opening for Bruno Mars on the star’s 2017 European tour. Dr. Dre produced .Paak’s latest album Oxnard, which arrived last month and features Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, J.Cole and more.
Tickets for Andy’s Beach Club World Tour go on sale Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. local time.
