Alejandro Sanz Partners With OCESA, GTS For World Tour
Latin music sensation Alejandro Sanz is lining up his 2019 tour dates and has partnered with Mexican media powerhouse OCESA Seitrack, along with MOW Management and GTS of Universal Music Group.
Sanz has already announced several dates in Spain to kick off his La Gira tour, starting June 1 in Sevilla, Spain’s Estadio Benito Villamarín. The other Spain stops include Barcelona, Madrid, and Elche. Tickets to those initial dates are on sale now.
“When you find good traveling partners, the journey becomes the destination. With the desire to start this tour with you,” Sanz said in a statement. “I am more than confident that working hand in hand with my office, MOW Management, alongside GTS and OCESA Seitrack, #LaGira will be huge and be up to par with what my fans deserve.”
OCESA /CIE is Mexico’s largest promoter and came in at No. 3 on Pollstar’s 2017 Year End Top 100 Promoters chart, with 4,034,699 tickets sold. OCESA Seitrack is the record label and talent agency subdivision of Grupo CIE, OCESA’s parent company.

Sanz is a premier act in Spanish-speaking markets all over the world, and has the accolades to prove it: 18 Latin Grammys; three Grammys; and was named the 2017 Latin Grammy Person of the year.
In terms of tickets, he performed two nights at Barclaycard Center in Madrid Dec. 5-6, 2016 grossing $1.76 million and reporting 32,000 tickets. He also played three shows in Monterrey, Mexico, in February of that year at Auditorio Citibanamex, grossing $1.23 million and reporting 19,183 tickets.
