Multi-platinum singer-songwriter and Toronto native Shawn Mendes announces that he’ll be performing his first ever stadium show in his hometown on Sept. 6, 2019 at Rogers Centre. Not only will this be his first time performing at the Toronto-based stadium, but it’ll also mark his biggest headlining show to date.

Presale tickets will be available for purchase starting Dec. 5 on and, while general tickets go on sale starting Dec. 15 via

“Playing Rogers Centre is truly a dream come true for me,” Mendes professes in a statement. “Having grown up going to games, playing as an opener just a few years ago, and now being able to headline a show here, is just surreal. I’m so grateful for the fans that have supported me from the beginning and have made this possible.”

The Rogers Centre show will be the last stop on the North American leg of his already announced worldwide arena tour, Shawn Mendes: The Tour. In celebration of his album Shawn Mendes, released in May 2018, the tour consists of over 60 dates, reaching North America, Europe, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Additional dates are yet to be announced.

In support of his hometown show, Canadian-born brand Roots will be collaborating with Mendes to create limited-edition merchandise. The collaboration will be available starting Dec. 4 at the Roots store in the CF Toronto Eaton Centre for a limited time only. Unique presale codes will be offered to those who attend the in-store event, granting them first hand access to tickets to the Toronto show. The first 100 fans who actually make a purchase will receive a limited-edition signed poster. In addition, ten fans will win tickets to the show, and one will win a ticket with a meet-and-greet pass to meet the Canadian singer.
