The Live Nation owned brand debuted in Germany in 2017, but took a break this year

Live Nation’s Wireless Festival brand will return to Frankfurt, Germany, next year, after taking a break in 2018.
A popular brand in England since 2005, Wireless debuted in Germany in 2017 at Frankfurt’s Commerzbank Arena, headlined by Justin Bieber and The Weeknd.
The Germany edition took a break in 2018. Today, Live Nation announced that Wireless would be returning to Frankfurt, July 5-6, albeit to a new location, the Alter Rebstockpark in Frankfurt/Main.
Live Nation describes the new location, which has a daily capacity of 40,000, as a “green oasis amidst a metropolis”.
The confirmed lineup includes Travis Scott, Rita Ora, Migos, J Balvin, Rae Sremmurd, James Blake, Lil Baby, Gunna, as well as German acts Marteria & Casper, Bonez MC & RAF Camora, Bausa, Ufo361, KC Rebell, and more.
Aside from live music, visitors can expect breakdance performances, street art, fashion and styling offers, chillout areas as well as open air Shisha bars.
