James Blake will be back on the road next year, launching a headline tour at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA, on Feb. 18.
The tour will take Blake across the country, with two back-to-back nights at New York’s Terminal 5, Feb. 24-25, and three shows in Canada, at Toronto’s Sony Center For The Performing Arts, Feb. 27, Montreal’s L’Olympia, Feb. 28, and Vancouver’s Harbour Convention Centre.
It’s his first headline run in the U.S. since the 2016 tour in support of his latest album The Colour In Anything, released in May that year. He’ll be returning to a few familiar places, such as Boston’s House of Blues  or the Hollywood Palladium in LA, but mostly switching up venues in the cities he’s revisiting.
In Chicago, for instance, he’s moving from the Cadillac Palace Theatre to the Riviera Theatre, March 3. In Philadelphia, Blake’s playing The Filmore on Feb. 22. On his last visit, he performed at the Electric Factory.
With a few exceptions, Blake’s last run in the U.S. was sold-out or almost sold out. According to Pollstar’s box office reports, the highest-grossing show of his 2016 U.S. tour was the Oct. 3 sold-out Radio City Music Hall gig, which sold 5,736 tickets, grossing $329,481, followed by two nights at the Hollywood Palladium, Oct. 20/21, selling 7,400 in total, grossing $233,100.
This year, Blake supported Kendrick Lamar on his very successful and utterly sold-out European tour.
The first European appearance of Blake in 2019 has also been confirmed, when Live Nation announced the return of Wireless Festival to Frankfurt, Germany,  July 5-6.
