Justin Timberlake has postponed another concert on his Man of the Woods Tour due to vocal troubles. The pop star’s gig at Oakland’s Oracle Arena, originally scheduled for tonight, will now occur on March 15, 2019.
“As a result of bruised vocal cords, Live Nation has confirmed that the Justin Timberlake Man Of The Woods concert in Oakland, currently scheduled for this Wednesday, Dec. 5 at Oracle Arena is unfortunately postponed,” a Live Nation statement read. “Justin Timberlake is sorry for the inconvenience to his fans and looks forward to seeing everyone at the reschedule events.”
The postponement joins a slew of others Timberlake has made in recent weeks. Since Thanksgiving, he’s delayed planned shows in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Las Vegas and Fresno, California. Timberlake’s most recent performance was Oct. 22 at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
At press time, Timberlake’s camp had not responded to Pollstar inquiries regarding future postponements and the severity of the musician’s ailment.
Timberlake’s Man Of The Woods Tour, supporting his February album of the same name, has proven lucrative. At midyear, he had sold 576,564 tickets for a gross of $83.6 million, which made him the seventh-highest grossing artist of the first half of 2018. He memorably kicked off the year by headlining the Super Bowl halftime show.
