Ocean Resort Casino and Bowery Presents/AEG Announce Exclusive Booking Agreement
Ocean Resort Casino and Bowery Presents/AEG announced an exclusive booking agreement in which the two entities will work together to bring acts to the Atlantic City casino’s 4,400-seat Ovation Hall.
“We are excited about our partnership with The Bowery Presents/AEG,” said Bruce Deifik, chaiman of AC Ocean Walk, LLC, the organization that operates the Ocean Resort Casino. “Being able to combine their experience and expertise in the world of entertainment with the extraordinary venue that is Ovation Hall will allow Ocean Resort Casino to offer our guests and visitors a superior experience.”
Along with the Dec. 10 announcement, the new partners shared a series of 2019 shows. The Monkees, Brian McKnight and Tom Segura are on sale now, while others — including Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Loggins and the Isley Brothers — become available Dec. 14.
“The combination of the premier artists that we present along with the high-quality operation that Ocean Resort Casino provides will result in an unrivaled fan experience,” said The Bowery Presents/AEG partner Jim Glancy.
Ocean Resort Casino is the rechristened iteration of The Revel Hotel and Casino, which was sold in January to Denver-based development company Integrated Properties for $200 million. Integrated Properties subsidiary AC Ocean Walk reopened the establishment as Ocean Resort Casino in June.
The $2.4 billion casino originally opened in 2012 and permanently closed in September 2014 after filing for bankruptcy twice. Florida developer Glenn Straub subsequently bought the revel from bankruptcy court for $82 million.
