Mitski Announces 2019 North American Tour

After selling out every stop on her 2018 fall run, Mitski has announced a 2019 North American tour. The string of dates will take the indie-rocker to cities she didn’t play this year, including Indianapolis, St. Louis and Baltimore.

The 17-date run kicks off March 29 in Pittsburgh and concludes April 20 in North Adams, Massachusetts. The stint features support from Jay Som, and follows January and February dates in Oceania and Asia.

Earlier this year, Mitski served alongside Run The Jewels as support for Lorde’s North American tour. In fall 2017, she provided support for the Pixies.

The 2019 dates further promote Mitski’s latest album, August’s Be The Cowboy, which has topped year-end lists in Vulture and Pitchfork. In a review of one of her four Brooklyn Steel shows earlier this month, Pollstar wrote that “Mitski’s live presentation has leveled up on her latest tour to match her ambitious studio work.”
