Ariana Grande today announced the European dates for her upcoming “Sweetener World Tour,” adding another 19 dates to the 51 in North America.
The European trek commences Aug. 17 at The O2, London in the UK, before visiting Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome in Holland, Aug. 23, and AccorHotels Arena in Paris, France, Aug. 27.
The final date for the time being is the Oct. 13 show at Zurich’s Hallenstadion in Switzerland.
The European Sweetener World Tour follows a 51-date North American run that begins March 18 at the Times Union Center in Albany, NY, and ends June 26 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, ON.
The full list of dates can be found below.
Grande is nominated for two Grammys – Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album – as well as for a Pollstar Award in the category Best Brand Partnership/Live Campaign with American Exrpess.
Her last full-fledged tour was called “Dangerous Woman”, named, like the “Sweetener” tour, after the album accompanying it. The “Dangerous Woman” tour took the singer around the world between Feb. 3 and Sept. 21, 2017.
It was the tour that got targeted by a terrorist, May 22, 2017, when Grande performed at Manchester Arena. The attack led to a wide-spread industry response, which included a star-studded benefit concert at Manchester’s Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground as well as the launch of a dedicated security conference in London.
Grande finished Pollstar’s 2017 worldwide tour ranking on 19, with 879,164 tickets sold for a gross of $66.5 million.
