The French edition of the worldwide Lollapaloozas is set to take place July 20-21 at Hippodrome De Longchamp in Paris, with tickets going on sale Jan. 24.
The lineup for Lollapalooza Paris is set to feature The Strokes, Twenty One Pilots, Martin Garrix, Orelsan, Bad Bunny, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, The 1975, Eric Prydz, Jain, Tash Sultana, Mo, and Jaden Smith.
The onsale begins Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. Paris time.
Originally conceived as a traveling tour by Perry Farrell of Jane’s Addiction, Lollapalooza has grown into a major global brand, staging in Chicago, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, and a newest edition is planned for Sweden in June.
C3 Presents’ Charles Attal recently talked to Pollstar about the expansion of Lollapalooza and whether he might be working on an expansion into East Asia: “I’m not personally, but that doesn’t mean that my partners aren’t looking. We are always looking for sites, so yes, we are looking [in those markets]. We haven’t found the ideal situation just yet, but we would love to go to East Asia.”
The Paris event is produced by Perry Farrell, William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, C3 Presents, and Live Nation France.
Live Nation acquired a controlling stake in the Austin-based C3 Presents in 2014.
The South American Lollas are set to feature Arctic Monkeys, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Lenny Kravitz, Sam Smith and Twenty One Pilots.
