UTA Hires Eman Redwan As Digital Talent Agent
– Eman Redwan
Eman Redwan has joined UTA as a digital talent agent for the company’s digital talent division, which reps influencers across platforms like YouTube and Instagram.
Redwan is making the move over from CAA where she specialized in strategic brand partnerships in beauty and lifestyle. Before that she was a talent manager at theAudience and an account executive at CBS radio.
“As our industry continues to evolve at lightning speed, it’s essential for us to have the best players on the field,” UTA head of digital talent Greg Goodfried said in a statement. “We are thrilled to have Eman join our team, as she not only brings a wealth of experience but also a comprehensive understanding of the space and deep relationships across the board.”
Redwan said in a statement: “UTA is taking a cutting-edge approach to representation, especially when it comes to their incredible roster of clients within the digital space. During this time of rapid growth in the industry, UTA’s team of agents are championing both up-and-coming and established personalities that captivate viewers across the globe. I’m thrilled to be a part of an incredible team that is cultivating a new generation of talent.”
In 2015 multiple CAA agents joined UTA, leading to a legal battle in which CAA accused UTA of interference with contracts and breach of fiduciary duty, among other things, in what the agency’s complaint called a “lawless midnight raid.” Pollstar last reported that the case was officially on hold in 2016.
UTA also named eight partners last week, including music agent Ken Fermaglich.
