WME has promoted a trio of young women – Marissa Smith, Emily LaRose and Haley Teske – as agents in the company’s Nashville office.
Smith, who most recently served as WME Nashville Co-Head Scott Clayton’s assistant, began her career at WME in 2016. Last year, she spearheaded several social action events and initiatives including “Party at the Polls,” a unique concert and voter turnout rally at Nashville’s 6,800-capacity Ascend Amphitheater, and takes on the newly created position of Social Action Agent. She’ll book clients across all genres for various charity, political, and social action events.
LaRose got her start at APA in 2013, moved to CAA and settled in at WME in 2017. She most recently assisted Clayton with national and international touring for clients including John Mayer, Dead & Company, Kings of Leon, Train, and others. She now joins the music department as a booking agent in country music.
Teske began her career at WME in 2013 and spent more than three years assisting in booking arenas and sheds in the Northeast and Canada. Mot recently, she has worked on the national touring for headline artists on WME’s country roster including Brad Paisley, Chris Young, Jake Owen, Josh Turner, and Vince Gill. She joins LaRose in the music department as a country music booking agent.
