Rod Stewart Signs Multi-Year Touring Deal With Live Nation

Sir Rod Stewart announced today he has signed a deal that will see Live Nation exclusively producing and promoting his concerts around the world for several years.
“First, last and always my job is giving fans the best show I have in me,” Stewart said in a statement. “With Live Nation’s backing, I’m able to show up and sing knowing that everything that has led up to me taking the stage has been done with cracking perfection.”
The deal includes Stewart’s upcoming UK stadium tour, European gigs throughout 2019 and 2020 dates in South America, Australia, Asia and New Zealand.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Stewart’s North American tour last year regularly reported grosses of more than $500,000 per stop. He came in at No. 63 on Pollstar’s Top 100 Worldwide Tours chart.
A highlight from last year’s run was a $1.47 million gross at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto March 22.
