After an unforgettable tour together in 2013, Joey Bada$$ and his group Pro Era, Flatbush Zombies, and The Underachievers are reuniting for another 27-city tour as the newly formed Beast Coast collective.

The new entity is named after the 2013 Beast Coast Tour and is being ushered in with a collaborative track titled “Left Hand.”

The biggest difference between this tour and the original is that the “Escape From New York Tour” will feature all of Pro Era: Joey Bada$$, Kirk Knight, Nyck Caution, CJ Fly and Powers Pleasant. The three members of Flatbush Zombies – Meechy Darko, Erick Arc Elliott, and Zombie Juice – and the duo of The Underachievers – AKTHESAVIOR and ISSA Gold – are also being promised, bringing the collective total to ten.

The collective’s routing kicks off at Morrison, Colo.’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre April 13 and proceeds to three festivals: Rolling Loud in Miami, Soundset in St. Paul, and Governors Ball in New York.

After that, the headline dates get started in earnest July 23 at Seattle’s WaMu Theatre, and continue down the West Coast before moving into the Southwest, Regional South, Midwest and Northeast. The shows will mostly be in amphitheatres.

The tour has partnered with PLUS1 to donate $1 of each ticket to music and arts projects from Brooklyn public school teachers.

A Citi cardholder presale begins March 12 at 1 p.m. local time. The general onsales open March 15 at 10 a.m. local time.

These three acts reported a $181,460 gross when they joined forces in 2015, at Rumsey Playfield in their home market of New York.

Pro Era, led by Joey Bada$$, can be a strong draw on its own. Bada$$ filled most rooms reported on his “Amerikkkana” theater tour last year. Outside of New York and LA his strongest market reported was Silver Spring, Md., where he grossed $48,600 on 1,924 tickets April 20 at The Fillmore Silver Spring.

Some might remember Bada$$ living up to his name when he was sued for $1.5 million by a Donald Trump impersonator for allegedly hitting him from behind and knocking him off a stage.

Flatbush Zombies has comparable numbers to Bada$$ and reported strong sales throughout North American clubs last year. Outside of New York and Southern California, a highlight for them was a $58,150 gross at The Marquee in Tempe, Ariz., June 12.

The Underachievers played overseas last year, and reported grosses in the $10K range on their 2017 headline tour.
