EDM mainstay deadmau5 is ready to introduce North America to his Cubev3 this fall and winter, with headline dates spanning five months.

Outside of his numerous festival appearances, the first of which will be at Ultra in Miami this week, his headline dates start Sept. 12 at South Side Ballroom in Dallas. He has two nights planned at

Fans can register for a Verified Fan presale now, and that presale will begin April 3 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public April 5.

Chris Schroeder, who designed Cube LITE and now Cubev3 with Collyns Stenzel, spoke to Pollstar about what’s in store, saying: “Cubev3 has come straight out of Joel’s brain and we’re here to facilitate his vision … He’s using touch designer for the majority of the visuals, we’re trying to get away from Resolumeonly and outdated content on shows. We’re working against lagged content on a consistent basis at normal live shows, that’s what you’re gonna see at Cubev3 shows. Instead of hiring a company to go render a bunch of files, Joel can literally change the visuals, in real-time, to something that pulses at the exact BPM with the music and moves with the Cube.”

A touring workhouse, deadmau5 is a major draw, selling out lots of the shows reported in 2018. He also took the time to report stops in China, Philippines, Vietnam, Cyprus, and Japan. A high watermark last year was the $351,255 gross at Aug. 7 in Ibiza, Spain selling 4,800 tickets. He also topped $300,00 Aug. 17 at Armory in Minneapolis, when he sold 6,290 tickets.
