Miranda Lambert is plotting her Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour for 2019, with Maren Morris and Elle King splitting duties as special guests. Tenille Townes, Ashley McBryde, Caylee Hammack and Lambert’s Pistol Annies bandmates will join her on select dates.
The headline dates begin with a two-night stand at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., in September and run for two full months, wrapping Nov. 23 in Greensboro, N.C.
A Citi presale begins April 9 and tickets go on sale to the general public April 12.
Lambert’s co-headline tour with Little Big Town grossed more than $500,000 in virtually all markets reported, including $896,079 at Tinley Park, Ill., Aug. 25. She made the 2018 Year End Top 200 Tours chart twice last year, at No. 87 as a solo artist and No. 105 for the co-headline tour with Little Big Town.
Last year Lambert performed with Pistol Annies at CMA Theatre in Nashville, a performance of which Holly Gleason reviewed: “Nobody’s fool – or victim, Pistol Annies offer a punk rock feminism for the hardcore country set. Unapologetic, erotic, fearless and free, they closed the set with the slinky ‘Hell on Heels,’ introduced as ‘our hit,’ with genuine smolder. These are women who know what they want and how to get it, but far more than a man or material things, their surprise Country Music Hall of Fame concert suggests their desire is ultimately making music on their own terms.”
Gleason also reviewed Lambert’s “Bandwagon” run with Little Big Town.
A leading figure in country music, Lambert was named ACM Female Vocalist of the Year in 2018.
