Landon Bahl Named Booking And Marketing Manager At Chesapeake Energy Arena

SMG has announced notable promotions and hires at the Chesapeake Energy Arena and Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, with Landon Bahl named booking and marketing manager.
Bahl will provide support to both the booking and marketing teams in Oklahoma City and assist in enhancing the venue’s back-of-house experience for artists and tours. A North Dakota native, Bahl previously spent time with Creative Artists Agency in Nashville.
SMG also announced Lucy Albers as director of marketing and public relations, who most recently held a similar position at SMG-managed facilities in Sioux Falls, S.D., and received a Generation Next award from Venues Today (now known as Pollstar sister publication VenuesNow).
Emily Coursey was named graphic design and analytics coordinator.
Chesapeake Energy Arena was No. 89 on Pollstar’s Year End Top 200 Arenas in 2018, with 213,779 tickets reported sold, and was No. 90 on Pollstar’s 2019 First-Quarter charts.
Recent events include Blake Shelton Feb. 14 (12,130 tickets sold, $1.23 million grossed), Justin Timberlake Jan. 26 (16,810, $2.2 million) and Kevin Hart Nov. 3 (13,019, $872,449).
