Dave Stewart has joined Paradigm Talent Agency for representation as a musician, music/film/TV producer, author, and photographer.
Half of the duo Eurythmics – the other half being Annie Lennox – Stewart has worked with Mick Jagger, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Gwen Stefani, Bon Jovi and many more. In addition to the Paradigm team, Stewart will keep his attorney Peter Paterno of KHPS and his manager Dave Kaplan of DKM.
“‘I’m excited to work with Marty Diamond, Tom Windish and the powerhouse team at Paradigm,” Stewart said in a statement. “I am a polymath with music at the core of everything I do and still have that hunger to disrupt, create and build new worlds and platforms so music has an interesting and exciting journey ahead, I’m happy we will be on that journey together.”
Stewart hasn’t toured heavily in recent years, though he did hold court for three nights at Hollywood Bowl in 2014 with a bevvy of guests including the Los Angeles Philharmonic orchestra, Billy Ray Cyrus, Michelle Branch and Martina McBride.
Along with his work as a musician and in music production, Stewart is the creator and coproducer of NBC’s forthcoming songwriting competition “Songland.” He has won Grammy, Golden Globe, Critics Choice and MTV Video Music Awards.
“Paradigm’s mandate to push the boundaries of creativity makes partnering with Dave a natural fit,” Marty Diamond, Paradigm’s head of music said in a statement. “Dave is a maverick and one of the most underrated guitarists of all time – we are thrilled to be a part of his evolution as a global media multi-hyphenate.”
Diamond was named Paradigm’s head of global music last week, two months after he was named Pollstar’s Bobby Brooks Award – Agent of the Year winner.
You will see in this week’s Industry Hotwire that Paradigm has also signed arena headliner Bad Bunny.
