Colt Ford is making moves in 2019, with new management and music on the way. The singer/songwriter announced Tuesday he has signed with TKO Artist Management for management and brand representation.
“Colt and I have been great friends for many years. He is a tremendous singer/songwriter, performer, and entertainer. We have big things in store for Colt, the world needs to see his huge personality.” said TK Kimbrell, President/TKO Artist Management.
The Nashville-based management company’s roster includes Toby Keith, The Bacon Brothers, Ashley Campbell, Glen Campbell, Krystal Keith, Chris LeDoux, Ned LeDoux, Mac McAnally, and Waterloo Revival.
Ford was on the cover of Pollstar in 2010, hailed as “a golfing, hunting, rapping, country-singing family man.” At the time he was managed by Ken Madson of Full Scope Entertainment, which partnered with Average Joes Entertainment in 2011 to form Average Joe’s Management. Madson went on to launch F3 Entertainment in 2013.
The artist is still booked by United Talent Agency and signed to Average Joe’s Entertainment, a label he co-founded.
Tuesday’s announcement notes that Ford is currently in the studio working on new tunes. His most recent album is 2017’s Love Hope Faith. His hit singles include “Back,” “Drivin’ Around Song” and “The High Life.” He’s also penned tunes for other artists including co-writing Jason Aldean’s “Dirt Road Anthem” and Brantley Gilbert’s “Country Must Be Country Wide.”
Ford’s next gig is a May 3 appearance at Thunder Beach Motercycle Rally in Panama City Beach, Fla.
Reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice for Ford include a Dec. 15 show at the Diamondz Event Center in Jerome, Idaho, that grossed $10,136.
