– Lil Wayne and Blink-182

What’s their genre again? Lil Wayne and Blink-182 are taking on a full summer’s worth of headline dates together for what is sure to be a unique tour. Neck Deep is coming along as support.

The dates kick off at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, June 27 and move around North America for more than two months, before returning to Ohio for the closer Sept. 16 at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati.

A presale begins May 7 at 10 a.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public May 10 at noon local time, though a number of tickets will be available for $20 today as a part of Live Nation’s National Concert Week

In announcing the tour Lil Wayne and Blink-182 released a mash-up of  their respective hits “A Milli” and “What’s My Age Again?”

Both acts haven’t really been on the road in earnest since 2017.

Blink-182 had to call off a mini-tour late last year and a headline spot at Riot Fest in Chicago after Travis Barker was sidelined with medical issues. The band also had to reschedule “Kings of the Weekend” residency dates at Pearl Concert Theater in Vegas due to blood clots in Barker’s arms.

Blink-182 regularly grossed more than $200,000 per market during it’s 2017 run through North America and Europe.

That run also featured a $2.1 million gross over two nights at The O2 – London.

Lil Wayne went on a headline run in 2017 that grossed more than $100,000 in Detroit; Anchorage, Ak.; Dallas; and Missoula, Mont.,; Hollywood, Calif.; San Diego; Kingston, R.I.; Gainesville, Fla.; and Denver. He also launched his Lil Weezyana Fest in his hometown of New Orleans that year.
