Sky Blue Sky isn’t Wilco’s first venture into artist-curated events. The band also puts on Sold Sound Festival at Mass MoCA in North Adams, Mass. This year’s edition, scheduled June 28-30, features Wilco, Courtney Barnett, Tortoise, The Feelies, Jonathan Richman, Cate Le Bon, The Minus 5 and more.
Wilco hasn’t toured since 2017 but Tweedy has been busy supporting Warm, his first solo album of entirely new material. He put out the LP in late November after the release of his memoir, “Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back).”
Recent reports submitted to Pollstar for Tweedy include an April 18 gig at the Virginia Theatre in Campaign, Ill., that sold 994 tickets and grossed $51,263 tickets.
