Beau Black Signs With CAA
– Beau Black
Prolific composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter Beau Black shows no signs of slowing down, with more music in the works and the announcement that he’s signed with CAA.
There’s a good chance you’ve heard Black’s music, especially if you have kids. He’s a frequent collaborator with Disney, having written 93 songs for the channel’s highest-rated animated program, “The Lion Guard,” including receiving an Emmy nomination for the tune “Sisi Ni Sawa.” He’s also worked on theme songs for “Miles from Tomorrowland” and “Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero,” along with creating songs and score for “Mickey & The Roadster Races” and the upcoming “Rocketeer.”
Black’s tunes can also be heard in commercials for brands including AT&T, Target, Google and Samsung. This week’s announcement from CAA promises “a lot more music from Beau Black in 2019 and beyond.”
CAA signings earlier in the month include Lil Wayne and Lil Nas X.
Several CAA employees were honored as part of Pollstar’s inaugural Impact 50 list, including Head Of Music Rob Light, Co-Head of Contemporary Music for North America Mitch Rose, Co-Head of International Touring and music agent Marlene Tsuchii, agent Jeff Krones and Head Of Music Marketing Allison McGregor.
