Talking to Pollstar about it, promoter Anna Sjölund, President Concerts & Festivals, Live Nation Sweden, said: “We couldn’t be more happy about it, everything has been great – the music, the weather, the food, and of course the amazing fans. A great vibe all over.

“The feedback from the fans has been overwhelmingly positive, and I think it really shows that Stockholm was ready for this kind of festival.”
Like most visitors that attended a European festival over the past weekend, fans at Lollapalooza Stockholm experienced amazing weather, which was one of the highlights for Sjölund. The others included “Billie Eilish and her devoted fans, Foo Fighters closing a magical Saturday, and the amazing crowd – seeing so many people of all ages having the weekend of a life time together.”

There were no negative incidents worth mentioning according to the promoter, who said about the location in Stockholm’s Gärdet area: “It’s a fantastic site, and I really think the central location plays a big part in the success here. The site worked so well, and to be able to have this type of large festival basically downtown in a city like Stockholm, it’s just incredible. The whole city has been about Lollapalooza this weekend.”

When questioned whether she considered returning next year, Sjölund said: “Absolutely – we can’t wait for 2020!”
