Twenty One Pilots brings the Bandito Tour to Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, England, Feb. 27.
Twenty One Pilots have announced a new U.S. leg of its global “Bandito Tour,” with more arena dates kicking off Oct. 9 in Tampa, Fla., and running into Nov. 9 at Tulsa, Okla.
To ensure tickets get into the hands of fans and not scalpers or bots, the tour has partnered with Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan platform, where cans can register now through July 14 at www.twentyonepilots.com/banditotour.
New dates include State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Pepsi Center in Denver, and four dates in California, with Staples Center,Honda Center and Pechanga Arena in SoCal as well as Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.
The band’s tour has been on a tear, reaching No. 30 on Pollstar’s Mid-Year Top 100 Tours Worldwide tracking data into May of 2019, with a lengthy European leg in 28 markets including London where the duo played for 31,995 fans on three nights.
A second North American run launched on May 1 and continued through the end of June.
Commenting on the latest stretch of North American shows (before this new leg was announced), the band’s agent, Andrew Simon with Creative Artists Agency, told Pollstar, “To come back and do another 34 dates in North America this time around and just do huge business has been great. A lot of it goes to the band, they put a lot of time and effort into the show and I think that’s what people respond to.”
He added, “To be doing sellout business in places like Grand Rapids or Buffalo, when you can go in on a Wednesday night and do 13,000 tickets, that says a lot about what they’ve cultivated with their fans.”
Registered fans who receive a code will have access to purchase tickets before the general public starting July 16, with remaining tickets for new U.S. dates released to the public at 10:00 a.m. local time July 19.
