Cardi B, who had been scheduled to perform at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis last night, suddenly pulled the plug on the show less than an hour before it was set to begin because of unspecified security threats.

The show, part of her U.S. tour which featured opening acts Kevin Gates and Saweetie, was rescheduled for September 11, according to promoters Mammoth Live.

The promoter issued the following statement: “Due to a security threat and safety concerns at this evening’s show, management has advised that this show be postponed. These threats are currently under investigation.

The singer then took to social media to write, “Dear Indiana people: I’m so sorry for today I will like to let you know I was at the venue I was even rehearsing a new move I been excited to do on my show. Unfortunately, there was a security threat that is currently under investigation right now. My safety and your safety first.

“I want to thank the promoters we have already rescheduled the show. I’m so sorry guys. I never dealt with a situation like this before and I’m not taking any chances. I love you guys.”

The 26-year-old rapper previously canceled shows in El Paso,Texas, and at the 92Q Spring Bling festival in Baltimore, Md., in May to “focus on her health” after undergoing cosmetic surgery.
