Feener as chief projects officer will manage project execution across all aspects of Superfly’s business, including owned and operated properties and client experiential activations. Feener has been with Superfly for 17 years, acting as executive producer of Bonnaroo and San Francisco’s Outside Lands.
Superfly’s various roles in live event production include brand creation, large-scale event operation, creative production, talent programming, brand marketing and more. Superfly festivals include the comedy-heavy Cluster Fest in San Francisco as well as Grandoozy which launched last year in Denver but is not happening in 2019.
2019 marked Superfly’s last year of co-producing Bonnaroo, after the promoter sold the festival to Live Nation in 2015. However, AC Entertainment, the company’s partner in the Manchester Tenn., festival, will continue on with the world’s largest promoter.
