Creative Artists Agency Ups Kate Anderson To Music Leadership Team
Creative Artists Agency has promoted Katie Anderson to the music leadership team, four months after she took on the role of a strategy and operations executive at the company. She will continue to be based in CAA’s Nashville office.
CAA confirmed the news to Pollstar Aug. 14, noting that Anderson will concentrate on strategy, operations, culture, and growth for the team. The promotion was first reported by Billboard.
“We’re thrilled for Katie as she assumes her new role,” Rick Roskin, co-head of contemporary music, said in a statement. “Over the years, she has proven to be an invaluable colleague and friend whose insights and expertise will continue to be a true asset to the department.”
Anderson joined the agency in 2006, initially serving as a business affairs executive in the football department. She became a business affairs executive in the music department in August 2007. During her time at CAA she has helped advise colleagues on deals for clients including Stevie Wonder, Carrie Underwood and Jonathan Van Ness.
Prior to coming on board at CAA, Anderson worked in the football department at IMG.
