VenuesNow Conference returns for a third year, and makes its New York City debut after two years in Los Angeles, at the Conrad New York Downtown next week.

Programming for the conference – which as the flagship event for the sports and entertainment facility industry’s premier trade publication VenuesNow will host hundreds of facilities industry professionals Sept. 10-11 – includes a keynote discussion with sports league commissioners Don Garber (MLS), Adam Silver (NBA), and Cathy Engelbert (WNBA), and a conversation between the Azoff Company’s Irving Azoff and the Madison Square Garden Company’s Jim Dolan.

Other panelists at this year’s conference include Kim Pegula (Pegula Sports & Entertainment), Nicole Feld (Feld Entertainment Inc.), Darren Pfeffer (MSG Live), Al Guido (San Francisco 49ers/Entertainment Sports Ventures), Hannah Gordon (San Francisco 49ers), Charlie Jacobs (Delaware North’s Boston Holdings), Jerry Jacobs Jr. (Delaware North), Bill Bratton (Teneo Risk), Jason Miller (Live Nation), Mike Luba (Madison House/Forest Hills Stadium), Peter Shapiro (Dayglo Ventures), Craig Levine (ESL), Angela Ruggiero (Sports Innovation Lab), Melissa Hoffman (Rockwell Group), David Marcus (Ticketmaster), Mike Newquist (UFC) and Mike Cragg (St. John’s University).

VenuesNow Conference topics will encompass the industry’s most crucial aspects, such as technology, finance, security, ticketing, sponsorships, concessions, development, esports, gaming, inclusivity and immersive experiences. Programming will address the concerns of stakeholders from the club to stadium levels, and will also feature six “Innovation Spotlights” focused on cutting-edge technology and positive disruption, including Design and 5G.

“From Year One, the VenuesNow Conference set out to change the paradigm for venue industry conferences, to not only provide a platform for candid conversation about where this industry is now, but to also challenge us to envision where we will be in 10 years and beyond,” said Ray Waddell, who as president of OVG Media & Conferences oversees both VenuesNow and Pollstar. “We are thrilled to bring this conference to New York, and to host this wide array of perspectives from visionary executives who are actually changing the way we think about live events and the venues that host them.”

CAA ICON is the presenting sponsor for this year’s VenuesNow Conference.

Previous VenuesNow Conference speakers include Coran Capshaw, Jerry Bruckheimer, Jeanie Buss, Jeanne Bonk, David Zedeck, Louis Messina, Jared Smith, Bob Roux, Marcie Allen and Andrew Dreskin.

On Sept. 9, the evening before the conference begins, VenuesNow will announce its inaugural VenuesNow All-Stars, which recognizes the most influential and innovative executives, venues and ideas in the industry, and will host a private event honoring recipients.
