Event Accommodation Provider Caboose & Co Secures Expansion Loan

UK Event Accommodation specialist Caboose & Co has secured the provision of a commercial loan from asset finance specialist Arkle Finance to support its growth plans.

Financial details of the loan weren’t disclosed.

Caboose & Co convert shipping containers into high-end temporary accommodation designed for both event staff and attendees, offering en suite glamping to events. So-called ‘Cabooses’ have been deployed at The Ryder Cup, Royal International Air Tattoo, Cheltenham Festival, Glastonbury Festival and the Moto GP to name a few.

In response to client demand, Caboose & Co has been working with a couple of key clients on improving its product offering. The loan from Arkle Finance is meant to support this development.

“Expect to see a new product launched in 2020 and a doubling of its existing fleet,” a company rep told Pollstar in an email statement. Caboose & Co plans to reach 400 rooms by 2022 allowing them to work with more events and offer larger pop-up hotels to existing clients.
