Ten Atoms Hires Artist Manager Madelyn Anderson
Madelyn Anderson has joined Ten Atoms as a manager, bringing along client Molly Burch. The company has also hired Emily Lee and Dan Brielmaier for marketing.
Anderson is based out of Asheville, N.C. Prior to the hiring she spent five years at Min/Max Management. She has also previously worked as a legal assistant and graduated with a BA in International/Global Studies from University of North Carolina at Asheville.
Molly Burch, Anderson’s main client, has just completed a tour of North America after the Aug. 2 release of her latest project, Ballads. In the past several years she has been on the road with Alex Cameron, Grizzly Bear, and Lucy Dacus.
Ten Atoms formed last year when Ryan Matteson left C3 Management to form his own company, bringing clients including The Mountain Goats, Whitney, Japanese Breakfast and Black Pumas.
When asked about the expansion of Ten Atoms last year, Matteson said: “Long-term, we’re absolutely in the business of finding like-minded managers who tap into a philosophy of super-serving their clients. I don’t expect this to just be me and my core team, I expect to bring in other managers who have rosters that are aligned with what I am creating over here. Being an alternative to what else is out there. The team that I’m building and the expertise that we’re developing in-house is gonna be something that I look forward to opening the doors to other managers for in the near future.”
Whitney was recently featured on the cover of Pollstar and Japanese Breakfast was previously featured as a Hotstar.
